The V.O.'s, as the gorgeous couple are known, celebrated in beautiful and classy style at the infamous Ace Hotel in Palm Springs, CA.

 The wedding was attended by a small group of dear friends and family, and took place in the Commune area of the hotel.

The desert chic setting was made complete with a black and white colour theme accented with lemon yellow (and lemonheads and lemonade!), perfect weather and true love.  It was a dream come true!

Congratulations, Dar. and Al.! i had the honour and privilege of officiating (yet another)dream come true for a wedding Celebrant. A private home that sleeps 20 (but probably more) called CTR Ranch was the venue for this incredibly intimate ceremony that would beat any larger wedding in terms of love, friendship, family, celebration and partying!

Food truck Crêpes Bonaparte came out to feed the guests, as well as local hot dog business, the Riverside Hot Dog Company.  Fullerton musician Brett Cain provided entertainment.  Photography by Jake Ogle (not image at left).  More details to follow... i promise!

Congratulations, Ki and Ke!

The television producers were married in an outdoor ceremony on a gorgeous Palm Springs afternoon.  The couple brought family and friends out to an Indian Wells spa and resort for an informal yet elegant celebration of their marriage.

One of the most striking components of the wedding was the Japanese tradition of one thousand origami, or folded paper, cranes!

The pair, who work in TV production and post-production of television commercials, enlisted their friends and relatives to assist with the folding process.  Dividing up the duty of crane-folding in this way provided a chance for Ki. and Ke. to share the wedding preparation process experience, with the people closest to them.

WEDDING: Asian Ceremony Officiant for Small Destination Wedding Celebration

Asian Wedding Ceremony Officiant at Palm Springs Area Golf Course

Rancho Las Palmas in Rancho Mirage, CA is one of the many golf courses, resorts and spas that host hundreds of weddings each year in the Palm Springs area. But, did you know a small and intimate wedding ceremony and celebration is still possible, even at a large venue?

A couple from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada brought their loved ones down for a week of golf and sun and a short family-only wedding ceremony.  There was a total of twelve seats in the audience, and the couple stood alone with the officiator / minister / Celebrant.  To symbolise the union of two families in the weddings, the two mothers of the bride and groom blended sand in a unity ritual.

With the help of the resort's attentive catering staff, they took photos on the greens and on a golf cart, and  later ate in a private dining room.  Huge thanks to Darin, catering manager at Rancho Las Palmas, for making this such a wonderful, special occasion!

Wedding in Palm Springs, at a mid-century estate

CONGRATULATIONS: F and K!

What a fantastic weekend it was, with not just one, but TWO last-minute ceremonies!

First off, F and K were wed in the most fabulous Palm Springs home, ever. i already had the privilege of performing another ceremony at this very special location. Only close family and friends attended this lovely, intimate ceremony. Although the wind was blowing hard in the 110 degree desert heat, the wedding was the coolest affair!

The reception consisted of a fantastic surf and turf dinner, catered by JORDAN'S CREATIVE CATERING. Photography provided by the fabulous MAYA MYERS, and her partner Kacia. More photos coming soon!

This weekend, i had the privilege and honour of marrying two fantastic people. They put together the most fantastic cocktail-type wedding at a fabulous mid-century estate in Palm Springs!

It was a brief outdoor ceremony behind the backyard pool, in 100-degree PLUS weather! No photos of the couple yet, but check out the the beautiful home that was the backdrop for this very special day:
